best way to learn piano alone reddit

I want to learn how to listen to someone without instantly enforcing my own counter argument maybe for most people this is just a basic courtesy, but i find one of my biggest problems is about listening to criticism or an argument against myself without responding before the case is made.. I got a lovely keyboard for christmas but i'm years out of practice. the best app i found was synthesia. it's very cheap, has a great free trial too. i use it with the sheet music displayed but it shows fingering too. as others said learn to read music and practice lots is the best way!.
